During the Vietnam War opposition to the draft was spearheaded by the Resistance organization, headed by David Harris. The insignia of the organization was the Greek letter "Omega," the symbol for resistance in electrical circuitry. Members of the Resistance movement publicly burned their draft card or refused to register for the draft. |
