| "John Nunziata for Mayor--Standing Up for Toronto," 2-1/2" Red/White/Black Celluloid. John Nunziata (1955-Alive) is a Canadian politician who served in the Canadian House of Commons from 1984 to 2000, first as a Liberal, then as an independent. In 1990, he ran fifth in the Liberal leadership contest to replace John Turner. He was expelled from the Liberal Caucus in Commons because of his vote against the government budget. After he left the Liberal Party, he moved increasingly to the right. As a conservative candidate for Mayor of Toronto in 2003, he received only 5% of the vote. This item is from that 2003 campaign. |
