| "Hazak Armchair Activist," 2-1/4" Gold/White/Blue Celluloid. Hazak is the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism senior organization. It's name is an acronym. The het stands for Hokhmah (wisdom), the zayan for Ziknah (maturity), and the kuph for Kadima (looking ahead). Thus, as an organization of persons over 55, some might expect Hazak members to be "armchair activists." But the Jewish seniors I know are anything but sedentary in their activism.
