| Anti-Conservative Party Button from England, c. 1997. 2-1/4" Red/White Celluloid, issued by the Labour Party with the legend, "The Tories Have a Worse Record Than Bucks Fizz," with disclaimer information below. Bucks Fizz was a once popular British band, formed to compete in the Eurovision Song Competition in the early 80s. By the late 90's, the band's popularity had waned. In fact, in a noted court case, a judge declared that the band's name "had little fizz left in it." This was likely used in the election campaign that brought Tony Blair to power in 1997. $10.00 |
