(1929-1945). German diarist. To escape Nazis, she lived with her family for two years in hidden rooms in her father's office building. Betrayed by an informer, she was taken to Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, where she died of typhus. Her diary is a world famous testament to the horrors of the holocaust and the beauty of the human spirit. |
