(May 25, 1954, Columbus, Ohio-Alive). Buddhist Priest. Studied Buddhism under Ken Wilber and Seikan Hasegawa. Spent time in a Christian monastery in Maine. Founder, Rock Creek (Florida) Buddhist Temple. Worked as a graphic artist in Washington, D.C. Psychotherapist. Influenced by Krishnamurti and Ramana Maharshi, along with Maharaj Nisargadatta. Ordained Buddhist Priest in the Zen/Mahayana tradition, 1997. Founder, Companions Along the WAY.

Noted for hosting visiting Zen teachers and for promoting interest in Zen Buddhism among Americans. A pioneer of Zen in America.
